First launched back in 1932, the McVities Penguin is a British classic. This instantly recognisable chocolate-covered biscuit bar is still a fixture of lunchboxes and biscuit tins up and down the UK, and remains the perfect lunch or teatime snack.
McVities have grown so attached to the penguin that they have set up their own ‘Protect a Penguin’ campaign in association with the World Wildlife Fund to help care for real-life penguins in Antarctica.
